Lauren Davis is an associate at the Spivak Law Firm, where she represents California employees in a wide variety of labor and employment cases, including wage and hour class actions, discrimination claims, and harassment claims. Ms. Davis is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association.
Ms. Davis received her Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in African American studies from Yale College, where she ran varsity track and cross country, in 2006. In 2012, Ms. Davis received her Juris Doctor degree with pro bono high honors from University of California, Irvine School of Law as a member of its inaugural class. She wrote and directed the UCI Law School Musical and served on the Executive Board of the UC Irvine Law Review.
Ms. Davis has exclusively represented plaintiffs throughout her legal career and has successfully briefed and argued cases on behalf of plaintiffs before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In 2023, the National Trial Lawyers recognized her as a Top 10 Civil Rights Trial Lawyer and Top 40 Under 40 Lawyer.
Ms. Davis is admitted to practice in California state courts, the United States District Court, Central, Northern, and Southern Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
She speaks proficient Spanish. Ms. Davis dedicates her legal career to her late brother, Alex.
